Walnut Creek is a town in Contra Costa County, California, United States, located in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, approximately 16 miles (26 km) east of the city of Oakland. With a total estimated population of 69,122, Walnut Creek serves as a hub for its neighboring cities due to its location at the junction of the highways Sacramento and San Jose(I-680) and San Francisco / Oakland(SR-24) and its BART accessibility. - Acalanes Ridge
Acalanes Ridge is located on the northwest edge of Walnut Creek, at the intersection of Interstate 680 and Highway 24. It is a relatively small natural area that serves as a green belt between Walnut Creek and Lafayette. The ridgeline offers an incredible 360-degree view of the Carquinez Strait and the Delta to the north and Mount Diablo to the southeast. There are a number of short hiking opportunities, including a hidden sylvan creek and a spectacular spring wildflower.

Nestled between Ivy Hill Apartments and Regent Park Condos. The site was purchased by the City in the 1980s and developed into a City Park by the developer of Ivy Hill. Alma Park is a passive park with a rolling lawn, benches, decorative arbors and an impressive view of Mount Diablo.
- Bedford Gallery
The Bedford Gallery is an elegant and distinctive venue for your forthcoming reception, business meeting, cocktail party or special event. The gallery is 3,500 squared. Legs of contemporary art space with high ceilings, hardwood floors and abundant natural light. Located in the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, it is the largest community-based visual arts facility between the Bay Area and Sacramento.
